Happy 4th of July

On this the 4th of July -
I am free to love.
I am free to help another who needs love.
I am free to not hate those who need help.
I am free to speak out against hate.
I am free to love. 

I am free to do as I chose with a responsibility to do what's just and right. I am free to vote. I am free to learn and work and serve my country in any capacity that benefits my fellow countrymen. I am free to love those who are born here-- and even free to love those who were not.

I am free to thank a service member who puts their life on the line to protect mine. And I do. I am free to travel from one city to another and one church to another without fear of prosecution or harm. I am free to speak out, shout or cry in the face of injustice and I am free to change that which I can.

I am free. Because of those who fight for my right to be free I am free.

And I shall never forget it not now or ever.

Live free- LOVE free - and honor their sacrifice and willingness to sacrifice by living well and caring for each other. You have the freedom to make a difference. You have the freedom to help another. You have the freedom to teach a child. You have the freedom to make a change.
