The heart has a difficult job. It manages our emotions, creates new dream plans, does damage control too often and is usually underpaid. It never has a day off. It is startled by constant change, thrilled by new take overs, and works over time when someone is in trouble. It takes meetings with friends, gets stomped on by adversaries, celebrates victories and often has to lay off the slackers in our life.
I wouldn't want to be a heart.
I thought about the fact that I haven't written in a while and it occured to me that my thoughts are all over the place anyway. I have no focus right now but it is not so much because I am at a block or because I have nothing to say or that I have things so awry that it wasn't worth it. To the opposite end- I am probably happier now than I have been in forever. With happiness though comes a busy schedule and a backseat to things that are still a priority- although in a holding pattern right now.

Greetings.
ReplyDeleteYou don't know how happy it makes me to hear that you are "happier now than I have been in forever." It's about time; you were long over due to find this place! You will always have time to write and take photos and create; but the rare happy times of this life must be embraced and enjoyed as they are unfolding. I could miss a day or two writing or taking photographs; but I would never miss a day being happy. I still owe you a beer and some catch-up. Keep smiling, it looks very good on you.
